Supporting softball across Suffolk County
LISCA brings the Suffolk County softball community together through education, recognition, team connections, and the annual Long Island Softball Conference & Awards. The December 6, 2026 event is designed for 10U–18U players, parents and guardians, coaches, travel organizations, college programs, sponsors, and everyone helping local athletes grow.
Whether a family is exploring travel softball, learning about recruiting, looking for development guidance, or celebrating outstanding players and coaches, LISCA provides one place to find relevant information and connect with the wider Long Island softball community.
Communities we serve
LISCA welcomes softball families and programs throughout Suffolk County, including communities within all ten county towns:
- Babylon
- Brookhaven
- East Hampton
- Huntington
- Islip
- Riverhead
- Shelter Island
- Smithtown
- Southampton
- Southold
Players and teams from neighboring Long Island communities are welcome as well. The goal is a stronger regional network—not separate doorway pages or repetitive town listings.
Travel softball and team connections
Finding the right program starts with understanding a team's age groups, coaching approach, development priorities, schedule, and expectations. The LISCA travel-team directory gives families a starting point for discovering Long Island fastpitch organizations while helping local programs become more visible to the community.
Education, recruiting, and recognition
The LISCA conference covers the questions softball families ask most: player development, mental performance, recruiting preparation, communication with coaches, academic planning, leadership, and the transition to higher levels of competition. The Diamond Awards also recognize the effort, sportsmanship, resilience, and achievement shaping Long Island softball.
